Rochelle Leeper LMSW-MBA

As a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., businesswomen, panelist, award winner educator, guest on the TODAY Show, and making several appearances in magazines, it may not appear evident to others, Rochelle D. Leeper LMSW, MBA experienced trauma in her youth.  Even though the outside world perceived a healthy family dynamic, her behaviors as a teen betrayed that and before long, she was questioned by her school administrators and the truth was revealed. While navigating this tough time in her life, she had no idea that her experiences would form her life’s work.

After emerging on the other side, well-educated with a Master of Business Administration and a Licensed Master of Social Work, before ever enrolling into school Rochelle felt a pull to help young people in a different way. It was important to her to create a safe haven for those youth who are still “in the fire.” After working in Child Protective Services and interning as a school Social Worker and volunteering at multiple non-profits, she identified a void. Teens were not being provided the tools to be successful once they became adults. Rochelle set out to not only provide mentorship to guide them through their current struggles, but she desired to give them wisdom and abilities that would last a lifetime and Growing Hands, Healing Hearts, Inc. (GHHH) was born.

A Pittsburgh native and Texas resident, Rochelle intends to open a private practice for adolescent females so that she can continue her work to fully prepare them for their bright futures.
